Grant Dental Centre is a value-based clinic that was founded in 1969. Since then, we’ve been serving the community with comprehensive dental services. We take pride in our work, and we have a reputation in the community for being friendly and compassionate. Quality of work is our top priority, and we’re proud of the fact that we have generations of families coming to us. Our dental clinic in Winnipeg has got the resources to provide everything from routine check-ups to major procedures.

DR. DIANA XI DENG

Dr. Diana Xi Deng graduated in 2002 from the University of Manitoba Faculty Of Dentistry with honours. She then spent a year at the Health Science Centre Dental Clinic caring for patients with complex medical issues, and subsequent years practicing at Northgate Dental Centre. Dr. Deng bought her current practice at 1537 Grant from Dr. Terry Mancer in 2007. She practices in all aspects of dentistry, including aesthetic restorations, endodontics, kids’ dentistry, teeth whitening, and wisdom teeth removal.
Dr. Deng met her husband, Dr. Jiayan Guan, in Shanghai Medical School. They furthered their education in Medical Research at the University of Western Ontario prior to attending dentistry at the University of Manitoba. Currently, Dr. Guan is one of a handful of oral surgeons in Winnipeg. Together they provide dental implant treatment, from single tooth restoration to full arch dentures.
Grant Dental Centre was originally established 50 years ago by Dr. Terry Mancer and Dr. Lawrence Stockton. Located in the heart of River Heights, the clinic has long been known for quality dental care. The clinic was recently completely renovated, with central sterilization and new digitalized dental units, and is wheelchair accessible.
Together with her long-serving team members, she strives to provide quality dental care with a gentle touch and a friendly smile. They look forward to having you join their family at Grant Dental Centre.
DR. IAN GRENIER

Dr. Grenier was born in Albert Bay, British Columbia. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) in 1985, and continued on to the College of Dentistry where he graduated in 1990.
He practiced in Saskatoon from 1990 to 1996. He then moved to Winnipeg where he practiced at Dentrix Dental Office in St. Vital Mall firm 1996 to 2001 before purchasing his practice at Grant Dental Centre in 2001.
Dr. Grenier married in 1990 and has two boys that were born in 1996 and 2001. In his spare time, he loves to travel, cook, play guitar, and read Space Opera novels.
His mission statement is to provide a low-stress environment for his patients and staff, and to meet patients’ dental needs in the most cost-effective, efficient manner as possible.
DR. RITA WANG
Born and raised in China, Dr. Rita Wang moved to Winnipeg in 2013 and has been a Winnipegger since. She completed both her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry degrees at the University of Manitoba. Throughout her dental education, Dr. Wang was the recipient of many awards recognizing her superior ability in major restorative treatments, oral surgery, pain and anxiety control, and more. In recognition of these achievements, Dr. Wang received the Dr. John W. Clay Medal for achieving the highest standing in the 4-year dental program upon graduation.
As a dentist, Dr. Wang treats her patients like family, always taking the time to listen and communicate with honesty, in order to help every patient based on their needs and best interests. As someone who used to be fearful of the dentist as a child, Dr. Wang is passionate about providing the best care she can, while ensuring comfort for her patients.
Dr. Wang provides all aspects of dentistry, from fillings, night guards, and whitening, to crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions. Having been in the dental field for 7 years, Dr. Wang is excited to bring her dental expertise to serve the patients at Grant Dental Centre.
When Dr. Wang is not practicing dentistry, you can find her taking courses to further her skills and knowledge, trying new local restaurants with her family or friends, travelling, and learning to ski in the winter.
